Busy times

Well, last week was quite a long one.  Jay's Great-Grandma died on Monday so we had a lot going on.  Wednesday was the wake and Thursday was the funeral.  Things seemed to go pretty good, and everyone was sad, but at the same time seemed to realize that it was her time to go.  She was 96 years old after all.  We had the kids all weekend and Joy and I had some girl time.  We went to the pet store and had ice cream.  She wants to do that every week, but I told her it would be unfair to the rest of the kids if we did that.  Also on Friday the GAL came to the house for a visit.  I was pretty upset by something Jannah told her, but I realized that it wasn't something she thought of herself.  It's sad how much parents can influence a child's life. 

I'm hoping that this week is a little less stressful.
