I'm the worst blogger in the world

So here it is. I did end up taking that job at Wally World. I tell you the pharmacy there is run way different than the pharmacy at Walgreen's. But hey it's not up to me to run the show.

I'm tired and I'm bored.

Jay is gone doing his Army thing and Sean is well, Sean. I really need to find a way to have adult time and actually get a life.

I am such a loser.

Jobs

So I finally got another job. I'm working at Target for the time being and so far it hasn't been that horrible. Well, minus the fact that yesterday I had to be in at 6am and then I had to unload 60 cases of bottled water ALL BY MYSELF. Yes, for some reason they picked the new chick to do that. I wonder why?

Then the funniest thing happened today. I got a call from Wal-Mart about the application I put in over a month ago. I kindly told them that I was not longer interested because I had already been hired. After hanging up I was feeling strange about the whole thing and decided that I would call them back. I told them that I would in fact like an interview. Of course things got even better and I found out that they were looking to interview me for the pharmacy. Pharmacy means more money and better hours. Plus the perk of not lifting 60 cases of bottled water.

So Wednesday is my interview and we will have to see. I hate to quit a job after only working there for a month, but if it means better money and better hours, and not to forget that it is also ten minutes closer to home, I guess it will be worth it. Even if I loose my Target discount.

Easter Weekend

So as I write I am completely avoiding packing.  Which of course needs to be done by tonight so we can get on the road in the morning.  I, what was I thinking, decided I would tell my mom that I would pick Zoe up at the kennel for her tomorrow.  It's the right thing to do, but it means that we have a strict timeline to follow.  Let St. Christopher lead the way and help us with no traffic on our six hour journey.

At least it isn't a three hour tour.  Gilligan and the Skipper aren't in charge though.  We should be okay right?  Jay and I know this trip like the back of our hands.  I can't even count how many times we have done it together or separately.

Now back to Zoe.  The poor thing had to be left at the kennel since Monday because Mom, Dean, and Molly were all off having a wonderful time in Las Vegas.  That's why I just had to offer to pick her up tomorrow instead of letting her stay until Saturday.  She's 13 and shouldn't have to deal with all of the stupid barking dogs.  I can just see how she must be reacting.  Actually she's probably telling the other dogs they don't know anything because they haven't been around as long as her and probably won't either.  I love that darn dog.

So hopefully the trip goes well and everybody is happy to see everybody.

Oh, by the way, Jay bought NIN tickets for the end of May.  WOO HOO!!!!!

Hello Again

I actually am not forgetting about my blog.  Okay, maybe I have for awhile, but it seems that everything else gets in the way.  Who would have thought that school actually consumes some of your time at home?  I couldn't believe it either.  I actually have to come up with a crazy little skit for my History class.  Me and two guys as pagan Greeks, any ideas?  It must tell about our beliefs.  Done for now.  More reading to do for school.

Tired, but I must do my homework.

Yes, that is exactly how it is.  I seem so tired because Jay and I have been getting up three times a week at the butt crack of dawn (0530 hrs to be exact) to walk at least 2 miles.  We were supposed to walk 3 miles today, but we walked a new route and it turned out to be only two.  Jay said we will have to make up for it on Thursday and walk 4 miles.  I think that he may indeed be a little bit crazy.  Actually I know he is since it takes me at least 30 minutes to get him out of bed to walk in the first place.  That of course means that I am up at 0500 hrs just trying to get him up in time for us to walk.  If we do 4 miles on Thursday then I will have to get up at 0430 and I just don't like the sound of that.

I don't like the sound of waking up early at all because I seem to be swamped with homework this semester.  So by the time I take care of the kids (sometimes Jay is included in this) and then get my homework done I am not in bed until after 2300 hrs. I just can't seem to be able to do this anymore.  Does this mean that I am getting too old?  I'm starting to have to take naps in the afternoon.  31 years old is turning out to be much worse than 30 years old.

Just for Melody

I have been told that I haven't been blogging like I should be.  I can tell you the reason for this is simply because I haven't had too much to say over the last few weeks.  Work has been boring (well unless you count the countless text messages and phone calls I get to work for one certain individual) and school has been busy.  It's only the third week of school and I have already written three papers and done a presentation.  This could be the major reason why I just haven't felt like blogging.

Of course there has been a little more going on besides my life at school and work.  The munchkins have been their usual selves.  Joy is now 8 and Sean 7.  Joy was very excited when she got $20 for her birthday.  Sean got some more Bakugon (or however you spell it) and we tried to learn how to actually play the game.  I think we had more fun just trying to get the stupid things to roll onto the cards and open up then we did playing.  Sean did say that he thought the game was pretty boring.  Sean also is quite excited because he finally got his new backpack from his Grandma Julie.  That really made his day.  Now we have to write our thank you letters.  We haven't even got to the ones from Christmas.  I guess we have quite a few letters to write.

Now off to homework, dinner, and letter writing.  Maybe I will also do a little wine drinking.  You can never have enough wine drinking.
